The realm

How many people may be in the world at once, and the switch that closes it. A player already inside is never turned away — going home, through a door, or back after their connection drops. Only someone arriving is told the realm is full, in the words below, and when to try again.

When it closes, the people inside get minutes before every place closes.

0 means no cap. 40 is the most the box has been measured carrying well; raise it on the evidence of the capacity chart on Players, not before.

Today's app shows its own "the realm is full" line; these words reach players with the next app update.

The process rail

How many places (Area processes) may run at once — a safety net behind the cap. Leave it empty to keep the server's own setting. It should be at least the cap plus eight: everyone inside may need their home running beside the Village and the open places.
