Support

Spellgrove is made by one developer and a family of testers. Email hello@spellgrove.com and a person answers — usually within a day or two, sometimes faster.

When you write about a problem, say which build you have (the title screen's footer shows it after seven taps, and the Send diagnostics button in the connection panel sends us the game's own log — press it before you email and say you did), what device, and what you were doing.

Things that come up

"Can't reach the realm — retrying." The game cannot reach the server. Check your connection; the game keeps trying by itself and picks up where you were. If it lasts more than a minute, the server may be updating — the game says so when it can — or down; try again shortly.

"Update needed." Your build is older than the server now speaks. Browser: reload the page. Android APK from this site: download the current one from https://spellgrove.com/play. Store builds: update through the store.

Forgot your password. Email us with the display name and the email address on the account and we reset it by hand — there is no self-service reset yet. Only email accounts have a password: in the Android and iOS apps the account is the device's Google Play Games or Game Center player, which signs in by itself.

Signed in on a device you have lost. From the account page, every device with a session is listed and can be signed out.

Someone is being unkind in the game. Email us with their display name and roughly when. We take it seriously and act quickly.

Deleting your account

Inside the game: Account → Delete my account… — from the title screen's Account button, or the main menu while playing. It asks once, then deletes the account, the character, the home Area, everything collected, every session and every diagnostics report, at once and for good.

Without the game (a lost phone, or a child's account a parent wants gone): email hello@spellgrove.com with the display name and the sign-in email or platform used. We delete it and confirm by reply. The Privacy Policy says what an account holds and how long anything is kept.
