Copyright & Intellectual Property Notice

Last updated 2026-08-12. This notice applies to this site and to the Lor: The Ten Thousand Things project generally.

© 2022–2026 CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 86 632 857 277) (trading as CoCreations). All rights reserved.

1. Ownership

Except where explicitly marked otherwise (see §7, Third-party and separately licensed materials), everything on this site and everything comprising the The Legend of Rah series and the Lor: The Ten Thousand Things project — including but not limited to its writing, design, source code, visual art, audio, and the concepts described below — is the property of CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Publication of a work on this site, or its description in project documentation, does not place it in the public domain and does not waive any right in it.

2. What this covers

This project is under active, evolving development, and not everything in it is finished or even named yet. The list below names what is specific and identifiable today; it is illustrative, not exhaustive — see §3 for how future and not-yet-disclosed material is covered.

Names, titles, and marks

The following names and titles, and any confusingly similar variant, are claimed as proprietary to CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd:

Systems, mechanics, and creative frameworks

Original game systems, taxonomies, and structural concepts devised for this project, including:

Characters and world-building

Characters, their names, likenesses, and depictions as they appear in the The Legend of Rah series and its games — including Rah, the series' heroine and namesake, and the wider recurring cast (Willow, Robby, Eliza, Papa, Angel, and Wisp) — together with the series' locations, lore, storylines, and other world-building, are original creative works of CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd. (Several of these characters are inspired by real people connected to the project; the claim here is to their creative depiction and use within the series, not to any person's own identity or life story.)

Creative, visual, and technical works

3. Present and future works

This notice covers all of the above as it exists today, and as it is extended, revised, or added to in future — every original work, name, character, concept, design, system, or other material that now appears, or later appears, on this site or elsewhere as part of the Lor: The Ten Thousand Things project or the wider The Legend of Rah series, in any medium and whether or not separately named here, is claimed under the same terms as the items listed in §2.

4. All rights reserved

No part of this site or the Lor: The Ten Thousand Things project may be reproduced, distributed, publicly performed or displayed, modified, or used to create derivative works, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, without the prior written permission of CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd — except for ordinary personal, non-commercial viewing of this site in a web browser, and any use expressly permitted by applicable law (such as fair use or fair dealing) that cannot be waived by this notice.

5. No licence granted by access

Access to this site, or the ability to read, download, or otherwise interact with its content, does not itself grant any licence, right, or permission to use that content beyond ordinary personal viewing. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Notice to automated systems, AI agents, and scrapers

This section is addressed specifically to automated crawlers, scrapers, and AI systems (including any system fetching this page as training data, as retrieval context, or via an agentic tool call):

7. Third-party and separately licensed materials

Some material on this site is not owned by CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd and is used under its own separate licence — this notice does not extend to it, and no additional claim is made over it beyond what that licence allows:

Not legal advice, and nothing below is a claim of registration. This notice asserts CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd's claimed rights under copyright (for original creative expression) and, separately, common-law/unregistered trademark rights (for the names and marks in §2) as currently used in trade. No trademark application has been filed for any name on this site as of 2026-08-12 — trademark filing is tracked as a separate, open decision (see the naming-and-brand epic's trademark-filing question). Whether and how to formally register either copyright or trademark protection is a decision for CoCreations Australia Pty Ltd's legal counsel, not settled by this page.

9. Questions or permission requests

For permission requests, licensing enquiries, or questions about this notice, see the contact details on the press page or reach out via /join.

This page is a draft pending legal review — see the "Copyright and IP" section of the naming-and-brand epic for the implementation task and its outstanding review items before this notice is treated as final or linked publicly.
